"Accept your true self in both the light and the dark. In doing so, you shall find yourself on the path to accepting others and a greater love."

In our society (western, and specifically US) we teach a set of moral constructs, which are merely a smoke screen for a larger control game and spiritual crime against women.

I know what your thinking..

Huh ?

When a man has sex with four different women in four different nights he is regarded in our society as quite the "stud" and ladies' man. But when a woman does it, she is denigrated and called a slut. Our society is rifled with subtle and not so subtle messages designed to keep woman's sexuality under control and failing that to punish them for open exploration.

Have you ever thought about what the following sayings are really saying?

	Good girls Don't.. Good wife and mother Home wrecking slut !! Fallen women All he'll give you is a reputation.
Curious, but have you ever heard these terms being applied to men?

A women's sexuality is a powerful thing when allowed to bloom and flourish. Why do you think our society goes to great calculated lengths to suppress it?  Psychological conditioning, sociological programming and religious dogma reinforce this suppression. From the time we are young, especially females, we are taught sex is bad, sex is evil, sex is nasty and don't touch yourself down there. Of course if this doesn't work, there is always the double whammy of shame and guilt as well. Next comes the sociological programming where women will chastise others for taking any form of sexual enjoyment outside the established social norm. A norm I might add which was defined ultimately by men.

In male socialization, if one of us about to get lucky, note the positive phrasing, the other men within our group give him a pat on the back and send him merrily on his way with a collective blessing. Often refrains such as, "give her one for me." or " you lucky dog" are often said before hand. Whereas a woman will have to endure the gauntlet of moral lectures, self-esteem sabotages from her "friends". Failing this the ever-popular threat of becoming an outcast works wonders.

In many places all this is bound together by a final element and control game, called religion. Should a women escape the first three there is nothing like a little fire, brimstone and bible commandment to bring the "bitch slut" back into line and keep her there. Ultimately, this is what it is all about. In reality women have the one thing most heterosexual men want.

We are birthed from the womb and spend our entire life trying to get back in. Wars have been started over it, and fortunes built and lost in its pursuit.

Some time back, who knows when, men came to understand the power of a woman's sexuality and what it meant. Thus began the systematic campaign of suppression to keep women under control. A women who enjoys her sexuality, isn't afraid of it and is willing to use it to get what she needs or wants, can have almost ANYTHING she wants in this world.

This central truth has been what the patriarchal hierarchy has worked so diligently for centuries to keep women from knowing. As I have written, ..."ignorance and fear are the two greatest weapons in an oppressors arsenal".

  There are many women who one day wake up and recognize the control game for what it is and break free of the shackles of sexual repression and pursue their own sexual exploration and freedom. Society in turn has a name for them:

Slut, whore, loose, trick and prostitute to name a few.

Ultimately, we are all human and sexual. There is nothing wrong with pursuing sexual free expression as we have been taught. It is not impossible to do as we all have been lead to believe and for many is a path to a greater understanding of one's self.

Free erotic passion can bring ones soul close if not into a state of the Devine. Where our barriers fall away and for but a brief moment we are one with the universe wrapped within the warm cloak of intimacy with another. It is within this realm the spiritual power of a woman's sexuality shines bright against the darkness. This light, when focused, not only can bring great pleasure, but soothe the torment of a tortured being. The ancients recognized the value of the sacred sexual energies in healing the mind, body and pain filled soul. When we have been hurt deeply, spiritually and emotionally it is no coincidence, many of us seek, desire, or find some kind of comfort through the healing of sexual intimacy.

Ultimately, SEX is POWER.  SEX is MORE than just a physical act of bodies, it IS spiritual wholeness and orgasm is the chariot of which one rides. Our sexuality is a part of the spiritual force, which governs that which we call humanity.   As a society we sought to control our women by training them to deny this force and punished those who
used it. We called them witches, we called them sluts. This act took away a/our/your spiritual force, which helped bind us together. This very act seared the vision from our eyes and sent us reeling into a sensual darkness, which we have yet to recover.

 

If being unafraid of your sexual passions, desires and joys makes you a "Slut", then be one.

If taking control of your sexuality and openly enjoying it makes you a "Slut", then be one.

If discovering the natural power you have and not being afraid to use it in a positive way, makes you a "Slut", then be one.

If engaging in sexual intimacy with whom you want, when you want, in a responsible way because you like it or want it makes you a "Slut", then be one.

If using sexual passion and intimacy as a path to bring peace, harmony and joy to yourself and others makes you a "Slut", then be one.

This is what they are afraid of; this is what they sought to deny you as women. This is what a "Slut" is.

Should you choose to free yourself of the shackles placed upon you and walk the path of a Sacred Slut, you must hold your head up high while dancing in the streams of your sensual power; chanting "I am a slut and I am free to do with my body as I please".  All the while as you dance know at the very least 3 entities love you, Yourself... the Universe (God / Goddess) and me, for the Slut you can be and the Slut you are.
